About Your Practice

Maybe your general dentist mentioned that your gums bleed every time they're measured, and the numbers have been creeping up for a few years. Or you've been managing a loose bridge by chewing on one side only, and you're tired of thinking about it at every meal. Perhaps you simply noticed that one tooth looks longer than it used to, and you want to know whether that matters. These are the kinds of moments that bring people through our door — rarely dramatic, often quietly worrying, and almost always easier to address than people expect once someone takes the time to explain what's actually happening.

Our focus is periodontics, which means we spend our days on the foundation of the mouth: the gums, the ligament, and the bone that hold teeth in place. That narrow focus is deliberate. When a practice concentrates on gum health and dental implants, patterns become familiar — the early signs of bone loss between molars, the difference between recession caused by brushing habits and recession caused by disease, the reasons one implant site needs grafting first while another is ready to go.

We have a board-certified periodontist on staff, and we practice as a specialist office, including when filing insurance claims on patients' behalf. At the same time, we want care to be reachable, so we accept patients without a referral. If you've read about gum grafting and want an opinion, you can simply call. If your dentist has referred you, we'll coordinate closely so everyone stays on the same page about sequencing, restorations, and long-term maintenance.

Most first visits begin with questions rather than instruments. What's causing this? Is it urgent? Will treatment hurt? Can my teeth be saved, or is it too late? We answer those plainly, using your own imaging and measurements rather than generalities, because a 4-millimeter pocket in one person's mouth carries a different meaning than it does in another's.

From there we talk through options. For gum disease, treatment may focus on halting the infection and stabilizing what's there, and in appropriate cases we offer periodontal regeneration to help rebuild lost support. For recession, gum grafting can cover exposed root surfaces and add tissue thickness. When a tooth is fractured below the gumline or there isn't enough structure for a crown, crown lengthening can make restoration possible. When a smile shows more gum than a patient likes, cosmetic gum contouring reshapes the tissue frame around the teeth.

Here's what you can generally expect from the process:

  • A conversation first, so we understand your history, your concerns, and what you want your mouth to do for you
  • A thorough periodontal evaluation, including the measurements and imaging needed to see bone levels clearly
  • A clear explanation of findings in everyday language, along with what happens if you wait
  • A sequenced plan, including any bone grafting or ridge augmentation needed before implants
  • Honest cost information up front, since we are a fee-for-service office
  • A long-term implant maintenance and hygiene plan once treatment is complete

Implants, from a Single Tooth to a Full Arch

We place dental implants across a wide range of situations. Sometimes it's one molar lost years ago, with neighboring teeth that have started to drift. Sometimes it's a patient who has worn a lower denture for a decade and wants it to stop moving. We offer implant-supported bridges and implant-supported dentures, as well as full arch and full mouth solutions including All-on-4, All-on-6, and All-on-X approaches.

Full-arch treatment deserves a careful conversation. These are significant decisions involving bone volume, bite, facial support, hygiene access, and how you want to live day to day. We walk through the trade-offs between removable and fixed options rather than steering everyone toward the same answer. Having an on-site dental lab helps here: it shortens the distance between what we see clinically and what gets fabricated, and it allows adjustments to be handled with less back-and-forth.

Our Team and How We Work

Periodontal care is rarely a single appointment. Grafting heals in stages. Implants integrate over months. Gum disease is managed over years. That means you'll see the same faces repeatedly, and we think that continuity matters as much as any technique. Our team knows who dreads numbing, who wants every detail explained twice, and who would rather we just tell them what to do next.

We're also candid about the financial side. We are an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice and do not take insurance, and we welcome self-pay patients. We'd rather you know that before you sit in the chair than discover it afterward, and we're glad to discuss costs openly at any point.

Serving Boca Raton and Our Neighbors

We care for patients from Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Highland Beach, and Delray Beach — a stretch of South Florida where many of our patients are long-term residents and many others are newer arrivals still assembling a dental team.

Being part of this community shapes how we practice. We work alongside local general dentists, and we try to make scheduling realistic for people balancing work, travel, and family. If something feels off between visits, we want to hear about it early. Small periodontal problems stay small when someone looks at them promptly, and that's the kind of relationship we're hoping to build with every patient who comes to us.
