Your Practice

Maybe it started with a little pink in the sink when brushing. Maybe a tooth that always felt solid has begun to shift, or a denture that no longer sits the way it used to. For many of the Highland Beach residents we see, gum and implant concerns don't arrive suddenly — they build quietly over years until something finally feels different. Whatever brought you here, our job is to look carefully, explain plainly what's happening in your mouth, and give you real choices.

We care for patients throughout the coastal communities of south Palm Beach County, and Highland Beach is very much part of our daily practice. That matters more than it might sound. Seeing patients from the same area year after year means we understand the rhythms of life here — seasonal residents who need treatment planned around travel, retirees who want to protect the teeth they've kept their whole lives, and working families juggling appointments between obligations.

Our focus is periodontics, the specialty concerned with the gums and bone that hold your teeth in place, along with the surgical placement of dental implants. A board-certified periodontist is on staff, and we also maintain an on-site dental lab, which keeps much of the fabrication and adjustment work in-house rather than scattered across outside vendors. For Highland Beach patients, that often translates to fewer trips back and forth and tighter coordination when something needs to be refined.

Your first visit is an evaluation, not a sales pitch. We examine the gum tissue, measure pocket depths, assess bone levels, and talk through your history — what's been treated before, what's been bothering you, and what you'd like your mouth to feel like a year from now. You do not need a referral from another dentist to be seen. Many Highland Beach patients come to us directly, and we're glad to work alongside a general dentist you already trust if you have one.

From there, treatment follows the situation rather than a template. Gum disease treatment addresses active infection and inflammation. Periodontal regeneration and bone grafting rebuild support that has been lost. Gum grafting covers recession and protects exposed roots. Ridge augmentation restores the shape and volume of the jaw so an implant has something solid to anchor into. Crown lengthening reshapes tissue when a tooth needs more structure exposed for restoration, and cosmetic gum contouring evens out a smile line that shows too much or too little tissue.

For tooth replacement, we place dental implants ranging from a single tooth to full-arch and full-mouth solutions, including All-on-4, All-on-6, and All-on-X approaches, plus implant-supported bridges and dentures. We also provide implant maintenance and ongoing oral hygiene care, because implants and treated gums need consistent attention long after the surgical phase ends.

Why Highland Beach Families Keep Coming Back

Specialty care works best when it isn't rushed. We take the time to show you what we're seeing, explain why a particular approach makes sense for your anatomy, and walk through alternatives — including what happens if you choose to wait. Patients tell us they want to understand the reasoning, not just the recommendation, and we build our appointments around that.

Here's what Highland Beach patients can generally expect from us:

  • A thorough periodontal and implant evaluation before any treatment is proposed
  • Direct access to a board-certified periodontist — no referral required
  • Surgical and restorative coordination supported by our on-site lab
  • Clear explanation of each phase, including healing time and aftercare
  • Long-term maintenance planning so results are protected, not just achieved

Aftercare is where good outcomes are preserved. Grafts, regenerative procedures, and implants all go through a healing period, and we guide you through it with specific instructions and follow-up visits. We'd rather catch a small issue early at a routine check than address a larger one later.

Fees, Payment, and Getting Started

We are an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice and do not participate with insurance plans. We do file claims as a specialist on your behalf, so any benefits available under your plan can be pursued directly with your carrier. We also welcome self-pay and cash patients, and we'll go over anticipated costs with you before treatment begins so there are no surprises.

To get started, call our office and let us know you're in Highland Beach. We'll schedule a consultation, review any records or imaging you'd like us to consider, and spend that first appointment simply understanding your situation. From there, you decide how you'd like to move forward — on your timeline, with a plan that makes sense to you.
