Implant-Supported Dentures
We anchor your dentures to dental implants, so they stay secure while you eat, speak, and smile confidently.

Why choose us
Benefits of Implant-Supported Dentures
Dentures That Stay Put
Your denture anchors to dental implants, so it won't slip while you eat or talk.
Stronger Biting Power
Implant support lets you chew a wider range of foods more comfortably than with a removable denture alone.
Protects Your Jawbone
Implants work within the bone, and we can rebuild lost ridge volume with bone grafting or ridge augmentation when needed.
On-Site Dental Lab
Our in-house lab helps us fine-tune the fit and appearance of your denture with less back-and-forth.
No Referral Needed
You can schedule directly with our board-certified periodontist, and we welcome self-pay patients from Boca Raton and nearby communities.
Eating a sandwich without planning around it. Laughing in a group photo without covering your mouth. Talking on the phone without that split-second worry that your denture might shift. These are the everyday moments that bring people to our office asking about implant-supported dentures — not because they want something fancy, but because they want their day back. When a removable denture slips, rocks, or needs adhesive to stay put, it affects far more than chewing. Anchoring that denture to dental implants changes the foundation it sits on, and that changes almost everything about how it feels to wear.
An implant-supported denture is a full arch of teeth that attaches to dental implants placed in your jawbone, rather than resting on your gums and relying on suction or paste. The implants act as roots. The denture connects to them securely, so biting force travels into the bone the way it does with natural teeth. Depending on the plan, the denture may snap on and off for cleaning, or it may be a fixed full-arch restoration that stays in place and is removed only by us at your visits.
We see this treatment help several different groups of people. Some have worn a traditional denture for years and are tired of sore spots, relining, and a palate-covering upper plate that dulls the taste of food. Others are facing the loss of remaining teeth from advanced gum disease and want to know their options before anything is extracted. Still others are missing most of one arch while the opposite arch is healthy, and need a solution strong enough to chew against natural teeth. Because we are a periodontal practice that both treats gum disease and places implants, we can address the underlying condition and the replacement teeth under one roof — and we welcome patients who come to us directly, without a referral from another dentist.
The first question most people ask is whether they have enough bone. It is a fair concern, because jawbone shrinks over time once teeth are gone, and long-term denture wearers often have less ridge height than they expect. This is not usually a dead end. Bone grafting and ridge augmentation are part of what we do, and rebuilding volume in a specific area is often what makes a stable implant plan possible. We evaluate your bone, your gum health, your bite, and your overall goals before recommending a particular design.
The second question is how many implants are needed. That depends on your anatomy, the type of denture, and how the two arches work together. Some patients do well with a removable overdenture that clips onto a smaller number of implants. Others are better served by All-on-4, All-on-6, or another full-arch configuration that supports a fixed set of teeth. Active or untreated gum disease is addressed first, because implants depend on healthy tissue around them just as natural teeth do. Smoking, uncontrolled medical conditions, and grinding habits also factor into planning, and we will talk through them honestly rather than glossing over them.
Living With Your New Teeth
Healing happens in stages. After the implants are placed, bone grows tightly against their surfaces over a period of months — this is what gives the final restoration its strength. During that time you are not without teeth; we plan your interim solution as part of the treatment sequence. Having an on-site dental lab helps here, because adjustments and fabrication steps can be coordinated closely rather than waiting on an outside facility.
Daily care is straightforward but non-negotiable. A removable overdenture comes out for cleaning, and the attachments and gum tissue underneath get brushed and rinsed. A fixed arch requires cleaning beneath the bridge with the tools we show you. Either way, implant maintenance visits matter long-term. We check the tissue around each implant, clean areas you cannot reach, and catch inflammation early, when it is simplest to manage.
