You can come straight to us from Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Highland Beach, or Delray Beach.

Maybe you've been managing a mouthful of failing teeth for years — a bridge that keeps coming loose, molars that have been patched and re-patched, gums that bleed and ache. Or maybe you already wear a denture that slips when you eat, and you've started avoiding the foods and the dinners you used to enjoy. These are the situations full mouth dental implants were designed to solve, and they're the conversations we have every week with patients from Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Highland Beach, and Delray Beach.

Full mouth dental implants replace an entire arch of teeth — upper, lower, or both — using titanium implant posts placed in the jawbone to support a fixed set of teeth. Instead of resting on the gums the way a traditional denture does, the new teeth are anchored to the bone itself. That single difference is what changes how people eat, speak, and feel day to day.

There is no one-size-fits-all version of this treatment. Depending on your bone and your bite, we may recommend All-on-4, All-on-6, or another All-on-X configuration, a full arch restoration, implant-supported bridges, or implant-supported dentures that snap securely into place. Some patients want a fixed set of teeth they never remove; others prefer a removable overdenture that locks in firmly but lifts out for cleaning. We walk through the trade-offs of each so the choice is genuinely yours.

The most common question we hear is some version of, "Am I even a candidate?" Often the answer is yes, even when a patient assumes otherwise. Advanced gum disease, long-term denture wear, and years of missing teeth all tend to shrink the jawbone, and many people have been told elsewhere that they don't have enough bone for implants. As a periodontal practice, rebuilding that foundation is central to what we do. Bone grafting and ridge augmentation can restore width and height to the jaw, and periodontal regeneration can help recover support that gum disease has taken away.

Active infection also needs attention before implants go in. If gum disease is present, gum disease treatment comes first so that implants are placed into healthy tissue. In some cases we also use gum grafting to thicken thin tissue, crown lengthening where tooth structure needs to be exposed, or cosmetic gum contouring so the finished smile has an even, natural gumline. Health history matters too — things like smoking, diabetes control, and medications all factor into planning, and we'd rather have that conversation honestly at the start than discover a problem later.

A few practical points worth knowing before you begin:

  • A board-certified periodontist performs your surgical treatment here, and you do not need a referral to be seen.
  • We have an on-site dental lab, which keeps fabrication and adjustments close at hand rather than sending everything out and waiting.
  • Treatment is staged over several months in most cases, because implants need time to fuse with bone before final teeth are attached.
  • Upper and lower arches can be addressed together or one at a time.

Healing, Aftercare, and Living With Your New Teeth

The first days after surgery call for soft foods, rest, and following your post-operative instructions closely. Swelling and tenderness are normal and fade. During the healing months, you'll typically wear a temporary set of teeth so you're never without a smile, and we'll see you for check-ins to confirm the implants are integrating as expected before the final restoration is placed.

Once you're finished, the care routine is straightforward but not optional. Implants don't decay, but the gum and bone around them can become inflamed if plaque builds up — a condition that behaves a lot like gum disease. That's why implant maintenance is part of long-term success here: regular professional cleanings around the implants, periodic evaluation of the fit and bite, and coaching on oral hygiene techniques that actually reach the areas under and around a fixed arch. Patients who stay on a maintenance schedule give their investment the best chance to last.

Payment, Financing, and Getting Started

We are an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice and do not participate with dental insurance plans. We do welcome self-pay and cash patients, and because we file claims as a specialist, many patients submit for whatever out-of-network benefits their plan allows. Before any treatment begins, you'll receive a clear written plan so there are no surprises.

If you're tired of working around your teeth instead of enjoying them, we'd be glad to meet you. Call our office to schedule a consultation, and let's look at what's possible together.
